I have been studying the Spiritual and Emotional Roots to Dis-ease along with Path Ways to Wholeness for a few years now. I would like to provide some valuable resources and links to insight and teachings that can help you find the path way to healing and freedom in your life. When I was in bible school one of my professors recommended “The Bondage Breaker” which is focused on helping you to overcome “Negative Thoughts, Irrational Feelings and Habitual Sins.” I started going through Jack Hayford’s “Cleansing Stream” Curriculum as part of a church plant I was apart of. Eventually, I received prayer and deliverance ministry from a Couple at Hillcrest Church who taught a class based off the book “A More Excellent Way” by Henry Wright which explores “Spiritual Roots To Dis-Ease” and Pathways To Wholeness.” I started taking a class at Covenant Church in Carrollton, TX called Kingdom Transformations in which is explored some of the Spiritual Roots To Dis-Ease along with teachings in the Church that may have hindered or blocked healing. Eventually Covenant Church offered a course based off of the book “A More Excellent Way” call Kingdom Wholeness in which it took you through the Be In Health “For My Life” Curriculum over a 10 week period. This was the first book I read that started showing me there where spiritual and emotional roots to Dis-ease and dysfunction. I also attending a few one and three day conferences based of the Be In Health materials and went to one of the one week “For My Life” conference and received a lot of healing from many of the things I’ve struggled with along with revelation of how things operate in the Spirit World.

Some good reference materials on this topic are: Derek Prince – Blessings or Curses (book), Neil T Anderson – The Bondage Breaker (book), Jack Hayford – Cleansing Stream (book), and Henry Wright – A More Excellent Way (book), among others.

“I am come that they might have life, and that
they might have it more abundantly,” (John 10:10)

”Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and
precious promises; that by these ye might be
partakers of the divine nature, having escaped
the corruption that is in the world through lust,” (2 Peter 1:4)

“Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a
curse; A blessing if ye obey the commandments of the
Lord your GOD, which I command you this day: And a
curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the
Lord your GOD, but turn aside out of the way which I
command you this day, to go after other gods, which
ye have not known,” (Deuteronomy 11:26-28).

“Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not
written in the book of this law, then will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed,” (Deuteronomy 28:61).

The 12 Steps of Disease Anonymous

1. We admitted we were powerless over our disease — that our health had become unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that God could restore us to health.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our health over to the care and direction of God.

4. Following the guidelines of the 8 Rs to freedom, we made a searching and fearless spiritual and moral inventory of ourselves.

5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

7. Humbly on our knees asked Him to remove these shortcomings – holding nothing back.

8. Made a complete list of all persons (including God and ourselves) we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.

9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.

11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, praying only for knowledge of His word and His will for us and the power to carry that out.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others, especially those still suffering, and to practice these principals in all our affairs.
