Are Protestant’s A Diluted Form Catholicism? (Did The Reformation Complete Its Goal? How Do We Reconcile The Historical Facts?)

There are facts about the content and context of G-ds word and the trail of history stained with the blood shed by those who’ve sought to alter and corrupt G-ds word that we must seek to unveil and understand. Some questions we need to ask are: Did the Protestant Reformation actually accomplish its goals? Or did it just start something it didn’t finish? Why is the story of the Puritans and Quakers the most neglected portion of Protestant history? These questions we must seek answers to. People need to have to right understanding and context for many things they believe. Many have right “ideas” and miss right “context.” What is interesting about the most ignored story of the Puritans is that they journey was foundational in the movement to come to the new world of the Americas. We know of them in name only and only partake in their most famous meal at Thanksgiving but don’t even thank them for their contributions to our freedom. Worse yet we don’t honor the beliefs that set them on the journey to seek freedom from the Church of Rome and purify themselves from the stains of paganism that where still in the protestant reformation.

A Modern Protest?

The modern Protestant Church in America has come from the Reformation that was attempting to come OUT OF the Catholic Church. Where many have succeeded to get free others have still clung to unholy beliefs that come from the unholy Roman Empire. Many have sought to leave the Catholic way while holding unto other Catholic ways they consider to be right. There is a lot that Protestants take from Roman Catholics and the Orthodox community for example; Sunday worship instead of Sabaath rest, Communion instead of the Shabbat meal, Easter instead of Passover meal, Alms / Giving upon Request or by taking Offering instead of giving voluntarily via T’zdaka box, etcetera. I’m not saying that Protestant don’t try to find philosophical or biblical reasons that seem right for what they do. Yet, many Theological (Discourses on G-d) and Philosophical ideas come from the theology of Platonist and Mithras. They take from scripture and use Mithraism and Platonist ideas to explain something that in its original form was a Hebraic or Jewish thought that has a “little” different meaning in its original context. They aren’t always wrong and many times are close to right practice but many times with wrong understanding.

Some IdioUnsyncrasies

For example the Eucharist is a distortion or change of Shabbat meal and blessing of the Challah bread and wine. If you study the history that’s where it comes from. Communion is the Protestant version of the Eucharist, as there was no form of Eucharist or Communion before the Catholic Church created the Eucharist from the Shabbat meal. The Protestant movement re-envisioned the Eucharist as Communion instead of returning to the traditional practice of Shabbat. As far as blessing the Bread and Wine in Remembrance of the L-rd death, G-d honors that. If they were doing it as the New Testament it would be Shabbat not Eucharist or Communion. I’m not saying its wrong to take Bread and Wine, its okay, and G-d accepts, the fact remains that doing it as Communion comes from the Eucharist, Shabbat is the original form, the Ha’Motzi (Leavened Bread) and Bore Pre (Wine). I know when I used to do communion G-d accepted it because my heart. Its not wrong to do it in the simplified Communal form its comes from Shabbat though traditionally. That’s just a point. I’m not arguing for or against. Just saying that’s how we got the modern Communion practice versus the traditional Shabbat. The change in worship to Sunday is a Catholic tradition. I’m not judging just stating a fact about the formation of the traditions. I choose one others may choose the other. I’m not saying its wrong, just know how it came about. That’s all I’m saying.

In Essence

“In essentials unity, in non-essential diversity, in all things charity (love),” – Jonathan Edwards

In essence we should all believe Yeshua died for our sins. That we are saved by grace not of works. That the law is our tutor to convict of sin and bring us to our Redeemer, Yeshua. No flesh is justified by the law. Grace give us G-ds ability and time to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Grace enables us to live rightly through the power and time provided by the Holy Spirit. We should not to embrace the doctrine of Balaam that teaches the elect can willfully sin because their already elected. We know that Food, Drink, Day and Festival aren’t required. The festivals of Yahweh and Kosher eating can be beneficial if done rightly with right intent. You are no longer required to eat Kosher or observe biblical Feast days. Eating Kosher or observing biblical Feast does not earn you merit with G-d. The Law of G-d is summed up in loving G-d, yourself and your neighbor. We must be believers in Yeshua and a follower of the way of the Sect of the Nazarene. We know that according to Paul and Peter that Adonay made food a non issue. Yeshua made the Sabaath more restful (do it at your will not by force), if you need to eat eat, if you need healing get it. Paul said don’t judge concerning feasts. Yeshua summed up the Law and Prophets in loving G-d and one another. We must seek to walk in the Holy Spirit and Grace. The issues are debatable that why there’s debate. I’m not a legalist, I don’t believe anyone has to eat Kosher or observe biblical feast days. I do believe the feasts have some Spiritual, Relational and Teaching value. The good news is that are not required to observe them and they do not get you credit or merit with heaven. I do believe Deuteronomy 28 is a powerful scripture that teaches the keys for health and safety, yet warns of what makes people sick and destroys your life. We must see it as G-d being a good father who wants to protect us. True love doesn’t force you to do something, it will teach and educate, and then give power and options to do what’s right. G-ds loving and good idea has been used to subjugate and control people. Yeshua was freeing us from subjugation to choose to or not to by our own personal walk not by force in my opinion.

Having A Right Understanding

“As he thinketh in his heart so is he” Proverbs 23:7

Lets look at some right understandings of words that are misused and their meaning in the context of this discussion. Having a right view of G-d is essential to having a right view of ourselves in relation to G-d. For example Grace means spiritual Spiritual Enablement or G-ds ability. For example 1 Corinthians 12:1 “Now, concerning Spiritual (Charis) Gifts (Mata) I do not want you to be ignorant.” This is where we get the term Charis-mata, the derivative of the term used for modern Pentecostal calling them Charismatics. In the context of Ephesians 4 we are predestined to do good works Ephesians, yet we are not saved by works. How does that work? Lets look at a right view of Grace. Graces teaches us through G-ds ability and the Holy Spirit how to come under the protection of G-ds instructions that are meant to keep us healthy and safe. The word that is translated Love from Hebrew also translates to Mercy. G-d has always been merciful and full of loving-kindness. Torah means Instruction or Teaching, yet many wrong make associate it with Law or Legalism. G-ds instruction are out of love for our benefit not harm. G-d made food and holidays a non-issue because he choose to remove those stumbling blocks. We must avoid the doctrine of Balaam that teaches that if your elect its okay to sin since your elect. Grace isn’t a license to sin. Martin Luther was Catholic and was literally beating himself when he read Ephesians 2:8 and realized beating himself wasn’t going to save him, faith and Grace where. Some of Protestantism’s main players are a divergent form of the Catholic movement which is rooted in Mithra and Platonist. Not all are, but some do and where they agree with Catholicism is where you should be wary. If you don’t understand that you can get let into Doctrine of demons unbeknownst. We need to understand the priestly order of Melchizedek who you are under through Yeshua. Rightly understanding such words as Grace and Torah is crucial to right understanding of the New Testament writing. Another important word clarification for me is understanding the word Righteous, which comes from the old English phrase Right-Just. Yeshua became the right-justness of G-d for us and justified us before G-d. Right-Just-ness is not something we do for G-d its something Yeshua did for us.

Justification By Faith Or Law?

Are we justified by faith or law? Faith in Yeshua’s atoning work is what saves us. There is nothing new under the sun even Hebrews 11 shows only Old Testament saints listed as living by faith. The idea offering your life as a living sacrifice was an old testament belief that is also taught in the Talmud and Mishna. G-d in the OT is full of Grace, Mercy and Loving-Kindness. G-d did not change. The lies sold by replacement theology (if one accepts their doctrines they hold their views) that try to vilify the G-d of the Old Testament. The G-d of the Old Testament is the Word who was made flesh, who is Yeshua. Yeshua is the one who was active, speaking, creating and engaging with mankind. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. We have yet Grace, many don’t teach it right because they are influenced by the Doctrine of Balaam. The Patriarchs lived by faith, Hebrews 11 shows this. G-d is the same yesterday today and forever. When people speak of law that’s vague if you mean legalistic work or oral traditions of the Pharisee’s or the Levitical priesthood then yes those have been removed. The blessings of obedience have not you can choose disobedience, yet you miss out on the blessings of obedience. The law of G-d has and always will be the same. Just as a parent doesn’t want a child to put his hand in the fire or step in front of a car. G-d wants to protect you from Satan’s acid rain that falls on those who submit to Satan’s evil reign. Its that simple. Galatians chapter 5 tells us that if you walk in the spirit you will fulfill the law because you can not do it without the Holy Spirit, its impossible, Yeshua died for our sins, to release the Holy Spirit to help us to overcome and while abolishing the Levitical priesthood he reestablished the Melchezidek Order.

What Is Shabbat? Where Did Communion Come From?

Lets look at the historical practice of Shabbat that the Catholic hijacked and changed into Eucharist and was later again changed into Communion during the Protestant Reformation. Shabbat does mean rest, and is observed on the Sabaath. Sabaath is the Day of Rest on our Saturday which means Saturn-Day. When I was referencing Shabbat I mean the kindling of the Shabbat lights, Bore Pre (wine), Ha’Motzi (leavened Challah bread, Passover is the only time of unleavened bread), and Grace after meals. I am referring to the Friday Evening Shabbat in the family home done around meals which is the tradition the Catholic Church took and created a pagan infused service of Eucharist in which they believed in Transubstantiation. The teaching of Transubstantiation says you where literally eating the G-dbody, which in effect would be crucifying the L-rd all over again, every time and comes from a pagan ritual of drinking the blood and flesh and a divine ritual in which they thought they could invoke a pagan G-d to infuse the articles with deity (trans-substance-iation).

How Did We Go From Sabaath To Sun-Day Worship?

As for the change from Sabaath worship to Sun-Dial or Sun-Day worship; the Early disciples went to Synagogue and then on the Eve (Saturday night) of the first day they would meet in homes. There we no Sun-day morning Sunrise services until the Catholic Church changed things. Any church that observes congregation on Sunday gets that tradition from the Catholic (Universal) Orthodox tradition which isn’t found in bible. Can they sure? Is it the way G-d said to? No! Did the disciples meet Sunday morning? NO! They went to Synagogue Saturday and then Saturday Eve they meet in homes. If you read every verse that says the meet the First day of the week it says in the Eve which is Saturday evening, the biblical days starts in the Eve, Genesis 1 says and there was evening (night) and day and it was the first day. Midnight being the devils hour is a pagan tradition, our calendar and time is all messed up.

A Right-Just View Of G-ds Law

There is one absolute law that convicts all and one savior Yeshua, until we get back to that there can be no peace. When people don’t mediate the peace with G-d’s truth and law there can be no peace. Yeshua the priest after the order of Melchizedek, set us to reconcile men to G-d’s law. The Law calls us sinners in need of a savior, without law there is no need for a savior. Without rightly understanding the priesthoods or grace, that is why so many are confused and lost. Mosaic law is unchanged, law doesn’t save or justify it convicts of sin. Yeshua’s saves us from sin, the law is a tutor to being us to Messiah. The New Covenant priesthood is by Yeshua who died for our sins and re instituted the Melchizedek priest hood and removing the Levitical priestly atonement through the sacrifice of animals in the temple. Romans says the law does not justify which it doesn’t. Work’s do equal debt to G-d. The law is simply a tutor to lead us in right-just-ness and keep us safe in G-ds saving grace. It doesn’t not and can not save. Salvation is of faith, the law is unchanged the priesthood is changed. Atonement is no longer in bulls and goats. The law is unchanged, the priesthood and way to salvation changed by Yeshua’s death giving life without sacrificing animals. Everyone is under the Torah, the blessing from father Avraham and the commands to Moshe are applicable. The blessings we have are from being grafted in to Israel through Yeshua. The torah is still binding to all, the Levitical priesthood has been done away with, the Talmud and Mishna are not inspired commentaries. The Noahide tradition allowed for any descendent of Noah to join Israel without conforming to laws the same way the Jerusalem council, continued that tradition. Observing the biblical feasts is voluntary albeit “do not let anyone judge concerning festivals,” and the kingdom of G-d isn’t what you eat but right-just-ness peace and joy in the Ruach ha’Koddesh.

Keep The Commandments Of G-d & Faith In Yeshua

Revelations declares the overcoming saints as those who “keep the commandments of G-d” as well as keeping the “Faith In Yeshua.” Faith in Yeshua and obedience to G-d’s commands are not mutual exclusive they are beneficially inclusive. Blessings and cursing still come from obedience or disobedience, Yeshua said I desire obedience not sacrifice and that if you love Him you obey him. Jeremiah says the law would be written on our hearts. Yeshua said he didn’t come to abolish or make the law of no effect. Paul said He confirmed the law. 2 Timothy 3:16 says that the word of G-d is beneficial for instruction (torah means instruction not law) in right-just-ness. The legalistic works of the Pharisee’s and the oral traditions of the Mishna and Talmud are abolished in Yeshua. The law doesn’t save its a tutor that leads us to repentance and faith in Messiah. Yeshua said “be ye perfect as I am.” He said that if you lust after a women you commit adultery and that if you hate someone you commit murder. People can’t unify because they don’t except G-ds absolute truth. As long as people bang and clash about ideas, because they reject absolute truth.

Here are some scriptures to reflect upon when you consider the function of law and the change in biblical priesthoods under great high priest Yeshua.

“I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts“—Jeremiah 31:31-33.

“They are all zealous of the Law”—Acts 21:20.

“For I say to you absolutely, until heaven and earth pass away and everything is accomplished, in no way will one small letter or one minute punctuation be taken from the Law“—Matthew 5:18.

Do not suppose that I am come to destroy the Law, or the prophets. I am not come to destroy, but to completeWhosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven. But, whoever shall do them and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven”—Matthew 5: 17,19.

“We establish the Law” (Romans 3:3 1).

“And then I will declare to them, I never knew you! Depart from me, you who work against the Law* “—Matthew 7:21-23.

“Whoever commits sin transgresses also the Law, for sin is the transgression of the Law“—1 John 3:4.

“For by the Law is the knowledge of sin“—Romans 3 :20.

I had not known about sin, but by the Law, for I had not known what lust is, unless the Law had said, ‘Thou shalt not covet”‘—Romans 7:7.

“Therefore the Law is holy, and the commandment holy, and right, and good.”—Romans 7:12.

“For we know that the Law is spiritual“—Romans 7:14.

The “But He (Messiah) answered and said, ‘It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of G-d“‘—Matthew 4:4.

Every scripture* is given by inspiration of G-d, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in right-justness“—2 Timothy 3: 16.

“Shall we sin (transgress the Law), because we are not under the Law, but under grace? May it never be!”—Romans 6:15

“Whoever is born of G-d does not keep committing sin…he cannot continue in sin because he is born of G-d. In this the children of G-d are manifest, and the children of the devil. Whoever does not do right-justness is not of G-d, neither he that does not love his brother”—1 John 3:9,10).

“Paul…sailed into Syria…having cut his hair in Cenchrea, for he had (completed) a vow“—Acts 18: 18. See Numbers 6:5.

Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise“—Ephesians 6:2.

“For it is written in the Law of Moses, You shall not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treads out the corn”—1 Corinthians 9:9.

“But this I confess unto you . . . I worship the G-d of my fathers, committed to all things which are written in the Law and in the prophets“—Acts 24:14.

Messiah, our passover, is sacrificed for us. Therefore, let us keep the feast (of Passover), not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth”—1 Corinthians 5:7,8.

“But we know that the Law is good, if a man use it lawfully. Knowing this, that the Law is not made for a right-just man, but for those against the Law and disobedient, for the unG-dly and for sinners, for unholy and profane“—1 Timothy 1:8-10.

“Hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that says, ‘I know him’, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him“—1 John 2:2-5. See 1 John 5:2,3.

“The dragon was angry…and went to make war with the remnant…which keep the commandments of G-d, and have the testimony of Yeshua the Messiah“—Revelation 12: 17.

“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of G-d, and the faith of Yeshua“—Rev. 14:12.

What Did Yeshua Change? The Law Or Priesthood?

If read the verses as they are contextually you will see that the priestly order changed not the law. Mosaic law isn’t being changed yet the Levitical priesthood is, the two are not the same. Melchizedek is referenced in the Torah as is the Levitical priesthood. Sacrificial atonement under Levitical law was by animal sacrifice, under Yeshua the sacrifice that satisfies G-ds wrath is Yeshua who change the priestly order from Levitical back to Melchizedek, whom Avraham came under and received blessing in the Torah. The Torah and Mosaic Law are before the Levitical Priesthood. The Levitical Priesthood was set up temporarily until Yeshua came to fulfill it and re-institute the priesthood after the order of Melchizedek. Melchizedek was the king / priest of Salem which became new-Salem. Jeru means new. Jerusalem means New Salem. Avraham came under Melchizedek priestly blessing which Yeshua later re-instituted, the old is the new concealed and the new is the old revealed.

Being Doers Not Only Hearers Of Truth

The “Noble Berean’s” in Acts Chapter 17 searched through the Torah, seeking the truth and the right way to live. In the Hebrew language the word ‘La’Asot’ means “To Do,” which is similar to “Shema” means to “Hear and Obey.” For example “Hear O Israel, if you do what I say, I shall bless you.” Paul admonishes us to “be doers and not just hearers.” Yeshua said, “If You love me obey my commands.” He went on to state further, “Go and learn what this means I desire obedience not sacrifice.” Do you know what Yeshua means when He says “I desire obedience not sacrifice?” Biblical faith REQUIRES action, it is not optional. As James stated, “Faith without works is dead,” “even demons believe and tremble.” If you think your good works earn you any credits with G-d, they don’t “they account as debt.” Works will not get you to heaven, but if you are going to heaven, your works prove your faith is real to others. Jesus said, “Go therefore and show the fruit of repentance.” Show the fruit, works, outer expression of repentance, obedience and faith. Works will not get you credit in heaven. Yeshua accredited to you right-just-ness for repentance and faith in His shed blood. There are too many who hear and say “we should do” but then they do not do. These people are usually hyper critical hypocrites who make sure they sit in the best seats all the while judging and demanding that everyone follows the commands of G-d in relation to what benefits them. Correct doctrine requires obedient action and practice. If your doctrine doesn’t dictate how you live or your actions they are only philosophical ideas not principles that determine your character. Mental ascent is not true belief, to acknowledge truth and not live it makes one weak. To “know what’s right but not do it, make it sin.”

G-d’s Law Protects

G-d laws are meant to protect us, as a shield from the acid rain that comes from Satan acidic reign. G-ds laws are like a warm blanket on a cold winter night, like a cool breeze on a hot summer day. G-ds laws keep us free from the curses of sin. They protect us from the spiritual roots to dis-ease. All sickness is rooted in the spiritual dis-ease of separation sickness that comes from the original sin of Adam and Eve. All sickness and dis-ease has a spiritual root whether it be an Immuno-dis-ease, psychological dis-ease, they all have spiritual roots that are either inherited (generational) or the result of personal iniquity (sin). There are attacks that come from Satan to test, challenge and buffet us. We must know the weapons of our warfare; repentance (go therefore and show the ‘fruit’ of repentance); obedience (submit to G-d); resist the devil (stand and fight); ask for forgiveness (if you stand praying and there remember you brother has fault with you go and be amended); reconciliation (attempt to restore broken relationships); cast down vein imagination, thoughts, pretensions and arguments; put on the full armor of G-d; the prayer of faith; the blood of Yeshua and our confession. We must know the works of G-d and discern the wiles of ha’Shatan (the adversary). We have victory, forgiveness and healing in Messiah, Jesus died for our sins, was bruised for our iniquity and wounded for our transgression. By His blood “we were healed” as the apostle Peter stated it. The word of G-d provides for freedom, right-just living, a healthy and a blessed life.

Not Crushing A Bruised Reed

Jesus said “a bruised reed I will not crush.” Many of us are scattered and bruised sheep with pastor but no real shepherd to herd the flock, there are many who are bruised reeds but the Church doesn’t know how to handle them with care. I want to learn how to handle with care those who are bruised reeds; I know I am one of them. Understanding that our warfare is not with people but with the powers and principalities that seek to rule their lives is vital.

Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”

The Power Of Blessing & Cursing

Deuteronomy 11:26-28 – “See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse – the blessing if you obey the commands of the L-rd your G-d that I am giving you today; the curse if you disobey the commands of the L-rd your G-d and turn from the way that I command you today by following other G-ds, which you have not known.”

The words of our mouth are powerful. We have the ability to speak life or death, I do not mean name it claim it blab it grab it. We can speak words of life and encouragement, or death, destruction and discouragement. Under the Original Covenant with Israel, the sins of the Father we carried down up to four generations. This is what is considered Generational Iniquity, read. (Exodus 20:5; 34:6-7; Numbers 14:18; Deuteronomy 5:9). Science has shown that there is a connection between the thought life and how things affect the body. And that genetically we can pass down good and bad traits. Some attribute that to upbringing. But when A child is raised by adopted parents but shows traits similar to the birth parents there is no way that is connected to the way your raise. There are case studies that prove that ot be true. Genetics do affect how we think act and like. We are the genetic composite of our parents, well a combination of they since some come from one or the other or a little of both.

Understanding The Bible From Right Context

There are many distortions in the church and by many who don’t rightly divide the word and don’t study history enough to know. The bible is Hebraic history book, written by only Jewish people, the Israelites, who are descendants of Avraham. The Old and New Testament show the practice of biblical festivals Passover, Pentecost (Shavuot), even Hanukkah was mentioned while Yeshua was in Yerushaliyem declaring He is the light of the world. Yeshua’s parables where very similar to Jewish Meshalim at the time. There are a number of early witnesses who report that the life of Yeshua was originally written down in Hebrew. Among them is Papias, Bishop of Hierapolis in Asia Minor (circa 130 AD) who says,

“Matthew put down the words of the L-rd in the Hebrew language, and others have translated them, each as best he could.”

Dr Robert Lindsey, writes,

“Passages in the Gospels have become unclear and are easily misunderstood, or the meaning entirely missed, because their interpretation has become separated from an understanding of their Hebrew linguistic and cultural roots.”

Recent analysis by scholars of the Jerusalem School has shown that there is indeed a Hebrew “Undertext” lying behind nearly half of the B’rit Chadasha (New Testament). At least the first three gospels and probably, also, the first half of the book of Acts. The sages and teachers of Israel have preserved important information about the historic, religious, cultural and linguistic context in which Yeshua and Rav Shaul taught. It is believed that Luke  was written first in Aramaic or Hebrew. The Gospel of Luke was written to Jews from a physicians perspective. Today many scholars believe Matthew, Mark and Luke to have been first written in Hebrew or Aramaic. Even John contains ideas and thoughts that are clearly Hebrew and Jewish. The bible was written in Israel by torah observant Jewish believers.

A False Pagan Priesthood / Chaplaincy

The Catholic church is pagan and has influenced some of protestant denominations, such as the Episcopalian Church of England, and Lutherans who accept gay marriage and teach Universalism. They have changed the New Testament priesthood of all believers for a pagan priesthood. I have know some real pagans and have talked to them in an attempt to witness to them, who have stated they will never become Christians because Christians have taken their pagan holidays that pre-date Jesus and tried to Christianize them. Practicing a pagan practice even if you change then name or even try to place a different name on the demon to that of a dead saint that people worship, its still the worship of demons and disembodied spirits of dead people. Its damaging to willingly participate in something that turns people off from the true G-d and worship. To practice a Satanic or Luciferean rituals for fun, even if its just for fun is hedonism (self indulgence) and its wrong. When I spoke with actual Satanist and Wiccans and tried witnessing to them, many of them know the bible better than a lot of Church people. Because Christians don’t practice what the bible says and try to put Jesus in their holidays many true pagans don’t want anything to do with the Church, that’s a bad witness. Pagan anything even if done for fun is still bad and wrong. Many who haven’t reject, repented and renounced the wrong spiritual foundation can’t see the truth because the demons behind those religious spirits has blinded their minds.

Universalism

One thing that’s key to understand it that Catholic means “Universal” actually the Catholic Church was a blend of Pagan Mithras religion, Platonist Philosophical Teaching, Gnostic / Enlightenment thought and they overlaid them with Jewish and Christian terms. The chaplains in America’s army have to be able to teach and lead all religious services from Christian to Muslim, to Buddhist, to Wiccan, that is the style of Priesthood that Constantine set up in the Byzantine Empire and called “Catholic.” That’s why even a year after the Nicene council which Constantine called he was worship, Saturn, the Sun and Moon, the Catholic Priest ministered all religious ceremonies. They later during the Dark Ages around 1,000 Common Era started trying to re-invent themselves as a primarily “Christian” organization even though they where still practicing a for or blended pagan-Christianity. The g-ds of the Greek pantheon were renames to dead Saints of the Christian tradition, Dionysus the Queen of Heaven was rename Mary the Mother of Jesus and then called a co-mediatrix (Jesus is the only mediator between G-d and men).

The Mystery Religion & Mithras Connection

Many religions and  fraternal organization, all can be traced to the worship of Mithras which is the worship of the Sun g-d, which is where the “lodge” or underground cave or tavern came from. They believed that the Sun came out of a rock and was received by shepherds. Mithras worship came from the Egyptian worship of Horus (the Sun G-d), Isis (the G-ddess of fertility, the eternal virgin mother, the queen of heaven) and Osiris (their father G-d). The Greeks took Horus and changed him into their Sun-G-d Helios and Isis they made Dionysus etc. It was part of the ruling party of Rome and had came came down through Persia threw the Arya, or spiritual people of Iran. Many of whom migrated to India to start Hinduism. Later monks went to China and started Buddhism from the teachings of a traveling Hindu monks passing on their knowledge unto the martial art monastery of the  Shaolin. During the foundation of the early church the Romans tried to blend the ideas of Mithras with the Roman Catholic Church but the church rejected that at first, to later take on similar forms to the Buddhist monasteries. The Mithras worship pre-dated Christianity. They had similarities that one could use to manipulate and distort the truth. When Rome made Roman Catholicism (Universalism) the official religion of Rome they blended Mithras worship with Christian doctrine. They didn’t just blend any pagan religion but that of Mithras and capitalized on the similarities of the two. The connection with the fraternal lodge movements started when the Knights Templar converted to Shiite Islam and Mithras worship. I found a quote about the time of Daniel that the King of Persia was saying he was “an Aryan of Aryan decent,” it the statement is close to the time that the book of Daniel was written and we know that in Daniel 9-10 it says that the Archangel had to fight the Prince of Persia and it took 21 days to get to Daniel to answer his prayer. We know that the Knights Templar tie their roots to Egypt and the building of the pyramids and Hyrum Abif, the builder of Solomon’s Temple whom the Freemasons reenact the murder of in the initiation rights. They claim to be connected to Egyptology and Christianity, Two opposing religions. As King Solomon said nothing new is under the sun. that brought down Egypt, Persian, Greece, Rome, Aztecs, Miyans, Incans, Spain, England will bring done the US as “WORLD POWER.” 2012 isn’t the end of the world but will signify the end of the American Empire.

Christ-Mass, Where Does It Come From?

Christmas in America is pretty much a commercial holiday blended with the traditions of Kinter Klause, Saint Nicholas that include the Fertility Tree and seeding the tree with gifts to give. Jesus didn’t say remember my birth, He said, in regards to Passover, Do this In Remembrance of me. We are to remember that He died for us. The Catholic / Orthodox Church added, myth’s about Jesus around their pagan holidays, so they could keep doing them. Most of them didn’t even start until the 3rd century. They were not traditional or normative before that. Christmas has to do with the birth of the Sun G-d, who dies on the Fall Solstice, is born on the Winter Solstice and Resurrected on the Spring Solstice.

What About Easter?

Easter is a pagan holiday, full of kids participating in the seeding of the ovaries ceremony (Easter egg hunt) that comes from the Astarte festivities, hot cross buns, Easter Ham, and the resurrection of the Sun. They would celebrate Astarte on the vernal equinox. The ecclesiastical vernal equinox is the sunday that falls the week after the vernal equinox. The Nicene council decided to celebrate Easter on the sunday following the first full moon that comes after March 21st. If you notice, this is supposed to be during the feast of Unleavened bread and they have Buns and Ham, two things that aren’t supposed to be done on a Holy Day, as an act of Pagan disobedience. Now, we know that we aren’t judged by food and we can eat, however I do believe to rebel against G-d on a biblical feast day is an act of disobedience. Yet, I hold to the scripture that says to not judge in regards to Feast days, as I observe Passover I don’t want Judge so I don’t judge those who Observe Easter. I see it as one doing it the way G-d prescribed and another doing it as they see fit. Sure you can do it as you feel and if you have right intent G-d honors that, you can also do it as G-d says with right intent and G-d honors that.

The G-dhead or Trinity?

The right understanding of the G-dhead is vital. The Catholic teach a Tri-Unity which in essence is right yet hold to ideas that cane be confusing so looking to the Hebrew scriptures we can find a revelation in the descriptions of G-d that rightly teach the plurailty of the G-dhead in a way that’s more understandable. For example the use of the terms L-rd and G-d are used with and without caps to denote the difference between Yahweh, Adonay and Elohim. Kurious in the Greek Septuagint is used to translate Elohim which is common translated into L-rd in modern universalist terms. The G-dHead is Echad (One), as Adonay Jehovah (The Father), Jehovah Elohim (The Son) and Ruach Ha’Kodesh (The Holy Spirit). The G-dHead, is made up of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It in the Old Testamant the Father is called Adonay Jehovay, the Son is called Jehovah Elohim, and the Holy Spirit is called the Ruach Ha Kodesh. Its actually clearly in the original Hebrew however out of fear of using the divine name all references to Jehovah where changed to L-rd and G-d or Adonai and Elohim. The L-RD Our G-d The L-RD Is One (Echad). Echad, is plurality in unity so is Elohim is plural unity Theos and Kurious can also be plural depending on context. And two shall become Echad, one flesh. The Tetra-gramaton means four letters, used to refer to YHVH (Yod Hay Vav Hay) the divine name, Adonay is commonly used in its place. Tetra means four, gramaton means letter. HaShem is preferable when referring to The Name of G-d. Out of respect for the common to not take or use Yah’s name in vain. HalleluYah is the command everyone praise Yah. Jehovah Elohim (Yeshua HaMashiach) Jesus was the one who created the world and all things, through the word of His mouth. Yeshua was the pre-incarnate word or Jehovah Elohim, Adonay Jehovay is the Father, who sits on the throne. Yeshua is the  I am that I am that appeared to Moses on the mount and is the same One who said in “before Moses was I am.” The Greek phrase used there is Ego Eimi, also used in the Greek Septuagint translation of the Old Testament when Moses was on the mount and He said whom shall I say sent me and he said in the Greek translation Ego Eimi. (To find out more about and on the proper understanding and use of divine name look for my previous blog discussing the Eternal G-dHead Revelation).

Return To Right Foundations & Practice

We must return to our first love and do as Jesus disciples did. You aren’t judge if you don’t do it, yet there is still a right way under G-d and another way that seems right to man but its end is destruction. Not being bound by Rabbinical Law is good. Yeshua CLEARLY rebuked the oral traditions or rabbinical law which is a law different than the Mosaic Law. Rabbinical writings claim to be rooted in Mosaic Law they are not, they are mans attempts at applying the law. Yeshua corrected their misunderstanding of Mosaic Law. Jesus teachings RIGHT understanding of Mosaic Law, Yeshua parables teach the RIGHT understanding of Mosaic Law and for the MOST part Christians get it right, but then get a little scatter brained in the Explanation and theology (discussion on G-d) about it. The Ten Commandments is the Foundation of Mosaic Law, Yeshua made the foundation MORE STRICT, to lust and hate are Adultery and Murder, etc. Then Yeshua quoted Rabbinic writings and said “the law is summed up” in “love Adonay Your G-d with all your heart mind, body and spirit” and “you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Which is the traditional understanding of the Ten Commands given to Moshe, the first part is how to Love G-d and the second part is how you Love others and yourself. Blessings and Cursing still reside in obedience and disobedience, people are sick if they disobey and healthy if they obey, (Deuteronomy 28). Yeshua changed the priesthood from, Levitical sacrifice of Animals, to the Order of Melchizedek, where Yeshua is the Sacrifice for sin and atonement, He is also the Priest and King. Yeshua teaches right understanding of Mosaic Law, handed to Moses in the foundational documents of the Ten Commands. Yeshua makes Sabaath observance which is one of the Ten Commands an issues of conscious, stating “Man is not made for Sabaath but Sabaath for the man.” G-d made one day out of seven for rest, I don’t fault people who rest on Sunday, Monday or any other day. If you honor G-d by taking a day to rest weekly that is obeying the command. If your hungry and need food, don’t starve on Sabaath, starving isn’t rest, you can’t rest til you eat. Jesus healed on the Sabaath, its kind of hard to rest if your sick. The Pharisee’s work they taught on Sabaath, yet they created an unbearable yoke for others to not work. Yeshua was trying to help people find true Rest on the Sabaath. I try to observe true Sabaath by resting, not according to Rabbinic tradition but to do thinks that I find relaxing and peaceful.

The Baptism of Fire – What Is It?

Matthew 3: 11-12, “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:  Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

The baptism of fire is a work of sanctification in which we are made a vessel of honor and purified in the baptism of fire from sin. Sanctification is subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost. Holiness to be G-d’s standard of living for His people. Justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. This is historically believed by many Protestants, John & Charles Wesley, George Whitefield and Jonathan Edwards to name a few. The word clearly talks about G-d keeping us from sin. We don’t see that in practice often. I wonder why that is. We must seek to be “holy” as Yeshua is “holy.”

Below are adaptations from the teachings: “Safe In My Tents (Restoring The Biblical Role Of Fathers),” “Growing Closer To Yeshua Through Observing The Biblical Feasts,” “Why I Started Studying Hebraic Roots,” and “Why I Wear A Talit”

Restoring The Role Of The Father As A Priest

The art of becoming a patriarch and priest seems to be a lost heritage that society needs us men to man up and find again. In the Writings we find G-d “searched for a man” because He sought someone who could be an “intercessor” one who “stands in the gap” but He “found none” (Ezekiel 22 :30). The role of the father has been lost in modern society; there are too many fatherless homes, too many independent women. Even married men defer to their wives for decisions and spiritual leadership, as many more women attend Church than men. The art and lifestyle of becoming a patriarch and priest has been lost. We must take back our strength by becoming the priests and patriarch’s of our homes.

    The Shabbat Table

One of the lost arts of biblical priesthood is setting the Shabbat table (or Sabbath meal). One thing we have sought to restore in our home is a day of Rest and the Shabbat blessing. As I’ve stated this is the original form of what’s commonly called Communion. Basically its “communion” plus, in which you light the Shabbat candles, bless and drink the wine (or grape juice), break Challah bread, speak blessings over spouse and children, attend Congregation and enjoy the rest G-d made for us. I read some marriage material from Gary Smalley, founder of the Smalley Relationship Center, in which he stated that they had a family day every Tuesday in which they had a family devotional time. As a family you should decide when and how you want to have family time that’s spiritual and restful. As gentiles we are not required to follow the ancient traditions and we’re forbidden from judging in regards to festival or celebration. The word says to set one day out of seven, as a day of rest, it’s the intent of the heart, not the day that matters.

    The Passover Meal

Another important duty is to set the L-rds Table and remember the L-rds Supper. This is different than Shabbat (communion), this is the annual remembrance of Yeshua’s death as our Passover lamb. Whether you remember this as a traditional Christian Passover meal or having a family meal on Resurrection Sunday this is important to collectively remember that it is Yeshua’s blood that has caused us to Passover from death to life. The word declares there is life in the blood. We must set a holy table to declare G-ds goodness and love in our family’s lives. In Revelation we see the Saint overcome through the Blood of the Lamb, their testimony and the confession of their mouths.

    Observing Biblical Festivals

My question is this: if you are to be as one under the law to those under the law, why do most neglect that half of the scripture where Paul admonishes you to reach both those under the law and those who are lawless? Its unbalanced to live a free pagan influenced life without a completely biblically experience to counter it The word says to not judge regarding any feast or festival. The church in the bible observed the feasts, even through the 2nd century in the Apostolic constitutions observing Passover on Nisan 14th was required it. Can people choose to remember the events of the bible other ways? Yes! Are the biblical? No! Would you rather have a glass half or partially full or a full cup? Many live on less than half a cup because they choose to not do half of the whole pitcher for the simple fact that they don’t have to. On the other side living with a close to full or complete cup is fulfilling. That fulfillment is what I am going to discuss. When your observing torah, practicing right doing, and participating in biblical festivals (in light of their deeper meaning & fulfillment in Yeshua) you have very little time or need for the distractions many who are not set-apart entertain. Those who do not live set-apart entertain un-G-dly stuff out of sheer boredom, lack of knowledge and not knowing how to do what is right. When right-doing takes up your time and effort, you have little need for vain distractions. I believe that seeking to live a full and obedient life is so much more freeing and beneficial, it is a free-will choice. I would rather fall short of doing what’s right whilst striving to obey G-ds commands than to live in sin striving not to sin without living an obedient life or as apart of a set-apart community lifestyle. Many fall into sin whilst trying not to fall due to a lack of alternative choices. I want to look into the spiritual benefit of right-doing and the blessings that come from it. Its a challenging knowing G-d, catching the part where He says “if you love me obey my commands” and dealing with a Church that is stiff necked, lawless, hard hearted and opposed to right practice. Many act like “goats” but claim to be “sheep,” the question to me is are they sheep or goats? With Sam Hain (Baal’ze,bub, the L-rd of the flies) being the underworld ruler with a goat head also known as Baphomet, who is the ruler of this world and the father of lies being ha’Shatan (the Adversary). Have you ever consider if all the paganism influence in the church causes people to be aligned with G-ds enemies without knowing? Ha’shatan is very tricky and deceitful. Many seem so full of contention and bitterness and they reject the truth. It is disturbing that “spiritually” some seem aligned with G-ds enemies at times, though in word they try to speak like they are friends of G-d and they claim to be in the truth. It is good to have the surety of your salvation and the presence of the Holy spirit comforts you, to know your in the truth. Until you experience the blessing for and from observing the Festivals in the light of Yeshua’s atoning work you don’t know the experience or its fruit. Before I experienced them I didn’t know I thought I did. Until I found out “how much” paganism was the “foundation” of many things that many do, I couldn’t leave “Egypt” because I didn’t realize how deep “Egypt” had infiltrated “America.” I thought my walk was “deep” but it was limited by the spiritual distraction that the European pagan influence had on my experience. I wrote about Messianic Jewish roots, even recommended them, and I thought I was alright as a Gentile because I didn’t have to do historical Biblical things or what people label as “Jewish” things. That was before I started to practice them, with the right intent its means so much more spiritually and its so much cleaner and free of question. If you asked me a few years ago I would have said you could go as deep as you wanted without following the traditions prescribed by G-d himself in Leviticus 23. If G-d laid out a blueprint on how to approach Him and we ignore major parts then we close ourselves off from the deeper, clean hand and pure heart experience. If you ignore G-ds blueprint how can you think you will be able to build His house. I thought I was deep, I thought I “knew” what the right “understanding” was until I experienced it, the mere “knowledge” didn’t do anything. Thus the “knowing” and “doing,” you can’t have one without the other. If you know and try “something else” in “faith” you won’t get the same fruit that if you “know whats right and do it” with the right intent. Much of “western xianity” is based upon doing the least you can do, and living in the very least “acceptable will of G-d.” Many don’t even try to do the “good” or “perfected” will of G-d because they can get away with it. I believe more should seek the deeper walk. What I mean is many make it a license literally as a badge to sin or be a ‘greek’ without ever being Jewish or biblical. Paul said to be a Jew to the Jew and a Gentile to the Gentile. Never did he say to be JUST a gentile. We should be able to fit in with both and reach all bringing unity and stirring to jealousy for good works. There is too much focus on “we can do it this way” and “we don’t have to do it Jewish” then they say “don’t judge me” but judge those who do. Its a paradox, it doesn’t make sense, they take the we don’t “have to”, to the extreme of “never trying” to. I mean just because you can doesn’t mean you should If “you can” should it be the “only” way? Never should it be in my opinion however to be forgiving and show grace is good. Being legalistic is “bad” too most, being dogmatic is never good, having a form or religion and accepting G-ds power is good, denying G-ds power is bad. People decide to reject religious duty out of fear and then mislead others. Religion that denies G-ds power bad, right religion that acknowledge G-ds power is good, (James 1:19-21). Understanding the “good,” the “acceptable” and the “perfect” will of G-d is vital. The “good” would be where I was before when I knew and taught and tried but didn’t fully practice. The “perfect” would be a balance between knowing and doing. The “acceptable” would be doing the least you have to do which should be the exception not the rule.

My Journey To The Hebraic Roots

I got saved in an Assemblies of G-d church, that was experiencing and outpouring of the Holy Spirit after its leadership had went to the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, Florida. I hadn’t heard of it before, however the presence of the Spirit was strong, I received healing and was Baptized in the Spirit. I started going to bible school and went to visit the Pensacola Outpouring myself. I found some interesting things about the revival that have changed my life and perspective. Upon reading “When The Heavens Where Brass” I found out that Pastor Kilpatrick credits Dick Reuben for laying the foundation for the revival that happened there. While I was down there I picked up Dick Rueben’s teaching on the Pattern For Revival. About this time they were starting the Brownsville School of Ministry with Dr Michael Brown (Another Messianic Jew) as the head of the school. I was really feeling the Holy Spirit and thinking this can’t be a coincidence. I had also been listening to a teaching series from Tommy Tenney on the Tabernacle and the revival he was experiencing. This really started to wet my appetite for studying the Jewish and Hebraic heritage to the bible. I started doing a lot of studying of the Temple, the Tabernacle and the Feasts of the bible. I even started seeking out to participate in them and experience them for myself. I kept meditating on this statement that Dick Rueben was saying “when the pattern is right the glory will fall,” I couldn’t get it out of my spirit. The “pattern” he was talking about was that of the “tabernacle of Moses.” Since then I’ve done a lot of study on the Tabernacle or Israel.

    To Talit Or Not Talit

As part of my study I’ve started wearing a Talit myself when I attend congregation. A Talit (Prayer Tent-Shawl) is symbolic of the biblical Tabernacle and reminds us of our priestly duties. its a personal Tabernacle, the “Prayer Closet” Yeshua referred to, in the Beatitude sermon. It is also the “Tent” that Paul made by trade and the “Prayer Cloth” Peter blessed and healed the person who received it. Elijah’s mantle, was an earlier version of the modern Talit. A Talit is a portable prayer tabernacle and reminds the man of his duty as priest of the home. The Talit with the Titzit (Tassels) is worn by the man (priest of the home). Its symbolic of the Tents / Booths the dwelling of the Israelites during the wilderness travel. Its a personal Tabernacle / Tent. It is the “Prayer Closet” Yeshua referred to, the “Tent” that Paul made by trade and the “Prayer Cloth” Peter blessed. A Talit is a portable place of prayer and reminds the man of his duty as preist of the home. Elijah’s mantle wasn’t like a coat or business jacket, it was an earlier version of the modern Talit. He threw his “anointed” “prayer closet” on Elisha to pass on his mantle and declare his successor. The Tabernacle of HaShem was a special tent made for the Dwelling place of G-d. Each tent was to be representative of the Temple, in each the father was the priest. In the Renewed Covenant we see Yeshua teaching us when we enter our “Prayer Closet,” he was referring to the “Prayer Tent” or what is commonly called a Talit. Peter blessed a “Prayer Cloth” or possibly a Talit and blessed it releasing healing in the person who received it. Paul who was a traditionally trained rabbi made prayer “Tents” for a living. One of my favorite biblical feasts is the “Feast of Tabernacles” (Leviticus 23), it an entire week dedicated to remembering the time in the wilderness and staying in “Booths” or “Tents.”
