This is a further discussion into the Gap-Ruin‑Reconstruction Theology continuing the “World That Then Was” series. This time I’m going in bringing out a lot of quotes, sources, references and solid discussion on “The World That Then Was,” and now isn’t however there are remains found by geologist and comparative religious study that shows us there was a time when “giants,” “dinosaurs” (“dragons-serpents” before they were changed to slither on their belly), and “fallen angels” roamed upon the earth.

How do we understand demons? What are the disembodies spirits people call ghost or demons?

“But the unclean spirit, when he is gone out of the man, passes through waterless places, seeking rest, and doesn’t find it. Then he says, ‘I will return into my house whence I came out,’ and when he has come back, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes, and takes with himself seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that man becomes worse than the first. Even so will it be also to this evil generation.” (Matthew 12:43-45 HNV)

Where do they come from?

The story goes, Lucifer rebelled and was cast down from heaven, (Ezekiel 28:12-19 ; Matthew 12:43-45). In Matthew 12 Yeshua says “I saw” not “I see” or “I will see”. He’s say it in the past tense. The war was on in Daniel 9-10. The battle was waged against Job. The bible is full of the battle between “the fallen” angels and Adonai. If you don’t know the war is on now, then you don’t understand the nature of temptation and sin, or how demons speak to your in the first person to draw you away and entice you by your natural desires to get you to use the unnaturally.

“The gap theory has become the standard interpretation throughout hyper-orthodoxy, appearing in an endless stream of books, booklets, Bible studies, and periodical articles”. – Bernard Ramm wrote in The Christian View of Science and Scripture

Barnard goes on to say that in his opinion that its sacrosanct to question Gap Theology, he equates it to tampering with Sacred Scripture or to manifesting modernistic leanings. The fact that it has become so popular is there is so much evidence that makes many question and falter and when you have no answers or way to deal with real geology then you theology is unrealistic and flawed. Adonai said “come lets reason together” not leave you brain have blind faith. Yeshua said “count the cost” to buy the field, don’t just do it, take you time weigh it out, reason with Adonai. Remember the fear of Adonai is the beginning of wisdom. I will present some idea’s hear that you may have considered or heard before however this time I am providing much research and evidence in scripture and in solid sources. I’m going to stick to Scripture First and then lean on Thomas Chain Reference, The Nelson Study Bible and Dakes Annotated Reference bible, Rabbinic Sages and others to shows the clear possibility and likely probability of the Gap-Ruin-Reconstruction Theology. Here are some serious reasons to consider the Gap-Ruin-Reconstruction Theology from the author of the Scofield Study Bible and Dakes Reference Bible:

“Relegate fossils to the primitive creation, and no conflict of science with the Genesis cosmogony remains,” Scofield Reference Notes (1917 Edition)

Who thought you could reconcile science and the bible. I thought I had to have blind ignorant faith. Adonai say’s come let us reason together.

“When men finally agree on the age of the earth, then place the many years (over the historical 6,000) between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2, there will be no conflict between the Book of Genesis and science,” – Dake’s Annotated Reference Bible

I disagree that there are 6,000 years between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2, as I have and will shown there are Rabbinic source that believe there were 974 generations before Adam and even some who believe the earth may be older than that. However I do agree that an indiscriminate time did pass between verse 1 and 2 that leaves a trail throughout the bible, thus the title “Gap Theology.”

“Typically, it speaks of the new birth, the new creation, where all was chaos and ruin. With Genesis begins also that progressive self-revelation of God which culminates in Christ.” – Scofield Reference Notes (1917 Edition)

The earth has been mad new a few times. Recreation is a New Birth. We are New Creations having been Born Again in Christ yet we remain as old as we were the day we got saved and still aging. Its like the story in John 3:3-18 how can a man be born again. The earth has been through a few cycles of renewal we have at least the pre-Adamic Ice Age or Satan’s Flood/Ice Age, separately Noah’s Flood and the dividing of the languages and land at the tower of Babel (When Pangaea split). As we must be renewed in the spirit and seek to stay filled and refilled so has the cycles of the earth been. Adonai would not create a world in Chaos and Ruin. There has to be an explanation lets look in scripture. We will be looking into a few translations the Hebrew Names Version (HNV), The Scriptures (TS98), The Complete Jewish bible (CJB), Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC), Apostolic Bible Polyglot (ABP), Scofield, Dakes, KJV and the Messianic Amplified Restored Names Version (MARNV)

“Genesis enters into the very structure of the New Testament, in which it is quoted above sixty times in seventeen books. In a profound sense, therefore, the roots of all subsequent revelation are planted deep in Genesis, and whoever would truly comprehend that revelation must begin here.” – Scofield Reference Notes (1917 Edition)

“The inspiration of Genesis and it character as a divine revelation are authenticated by the testimony of Christ (Matthew 19:4-6; 24:37-39; Mark 10:4-9; Luke 11:49-51; Luke 17:26-29; Luke 17:32 ; John 1:5; 7:21-23; John 8:44; John 8:56).” – Scofield Reference Notes (1917 Edition)

Scofield’s Referring to Genesis 1:1 states, “The first creative act refers to the dateless past, and gives scope to all the geologic ages.

“First Elohim created, shaped, and formed the heavens to be lofty, the abode of the stars, and the visible universe and the whole earth, the land, ground, and surface of the earth.” – (Genesis 1:1 Direct Hebrew To English Translation,  MARNV)

“I have declared the former things from of old; yes, they went forth out of my mouth, and I shown them: suddenly I did them, and they happened.” (Isaiah 48:3 HNV)

The Bereshit (First) Creation was instantaneous and complete. As I discussed before there are three creation accounts in the beginning chapters of Genesis. The word “Bara” (Created) used in Genesis 1:1 is also used in Isaiah 65:18 to describe the restoration of Yerushaliyim. This makes Genesis 1 sound like it’s a story of re-forming, refilling, reconstruction or replenishing. For example the phrase “Let there be” is a world of allowance, as opposed to the phrase “come to be.” The Holy Spirit was “renewing the waters,” hovering and stirring them to bring them back to life. This is the beginning of the re-creative week where Elohim restores what was destroyed. Death came to mankind through Adam (I Corinthians 15:21, 22). Mankind as we known them as Homosapien did not exist before Adam, the first man made in Elohim’s image. Adonai destroyed the earth in Noah’s flood, He destroyed S’dom and ‘Amora because they we’re interbreeding “daughter of men” with “sons of Elohim” (B’nei Elohim a term only used for Angels Job 1:6,7). This is probably one of the most abominable things to Adonai.

“For the Son of Man’s coming will be just as it was in the days of Noach.” (Matthew 24:37 CJB)

Genetic modification, cloning and human animal crossbreeding is happening now. The end is near.

As in the Days of Noach so shall it be, B’nei Elohim producing offspring the Nephilim through inter-species breeding between fallen angels and women. If you look at the LHC at CERN and other projects to open dimensional portals or create clones, man is on a path toward disaster and calamity. The ancient past and historical records of all major religions and minor religions on all continents point toward near similar cataclysm in the past. We must learn from the past not duplicate it. The Scofield Bible notes on Genesis I:1-2

The first act refers to the dateless past, and gives scope for all the geologic ages. . . . The face of the earth bears everywhere the marks of such a catastrophe. There are not wanting intimations which connect it with a previous testing and fall of angels. . . . Relegate fossils to the primitive creation, and no conflict of science with the Genesis cosmogony remains.

The dateless past of Genesis 1 and the gap between verses 2 and 3, while not in the context eluding to the previous cataclysm and fall of angels throughout the bible it eludes to what happened that the earth “became” “without form and void” and yet scripture says Adonai did not create the earth “without form and void.” With a right understanding of scripture, its meaning and a look at science there is no conflict if you factor in the age before Adam. As I’ve stated in Talmudic literature its believed there were 974 generations before Adam. The idea of there being a gap or pre-existence of earth before Adam isn’t question its believed to be true. The question is what made the earth come to be formless, empty and dark for in Adonai there is no darkness at all.

HNV Genesis 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep. God’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.

WLC Genesis 1:2 וְהָאָרֶץ הָיְתָה תֹהוּ וָבֹהוּ וְחֹשֶׁךְ עַל־פְּנֵי תְהֹום וְרוּחַ אֱלֹהִים מְרַחֶפֶת עַל־פְּנֵי הַמָּֽיִם׃

TS98 Genesis 1:2 And the earth came to be  formless and empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim was moving on the face of the waters.

CJB Genesis 1:2 The earth was unformed and void, darkness was on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God hovered over the surface of the water.

What made the earth to become (Asah Hayah) without form and void (Tohu Bohu) a chaotic formless wasteland and abyss.

“The whole earth came to exist as a chaotic formless wasteland and abyss, which was empty and void; darkness upon the presence of the deep abysses of sea. Ruach HaKodesh of Elohim was moving gently throughout the presence of the waters.” – (Genesis 1:2 MARNV)

Lets look at what The Nelson Study Bible, footnotes on Genesis 1:1-2, states:

Here it means that God renewed what was in a chaotic state. God changed chaos into cosmos, disorder into order, emptiness into fullness. . . . The two words, without form and void, express one concept—chaos. The earth had been reduced to this state—it was not the way God had first created it.

“For thus says the LORD who created the heavens, the God who formed the eretz and made it, who established it and didn’t create it a waste (formless), who formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is no one else.” (Isaiah 45:18)

“Without Form And Void”

How did this come to be? Adonai didn’t create the earth a waste (Bohu = formeless), he formed it to be inhabited. So how did it become a formless wasteland? Lets look at some enigmatic scriptures that may have been overlooked and point to what we may have missed.

Isaiah 24:1-4 Behold, the LORD makes the eretz empty, and makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad the inhabitants of it. 2 It shall be, as with the people, so with the Kohen; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the creditor, so with the debtor; as with the taker of interest, so with the giver of interest to him. 3 The eretz shall be utterly emptied, and utterly laid waste; for the LORD has spoken this word. 4 The eretz mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away, the lofty people of the eretz do languish.

So here we see story making the earth empty (Tohu) and a waste (Bohu). The earth is made to be completely empty and totally laid waste. wow. That is powerful devastation. Here is what Scofield’s Reference Notes says about this.

Jeremiah 4:23-27 ; Isaiah 24:1 ; 45:18 clearly indicate that the earth had undergone a cataclysmic change as the result of divine judgment. The face of the earth bears everywhere the marks of such a catastrophe. There are not wanting imitations which connect it with a previous testing and fall of angels. See Ezekiel 28:12-15 ; Isaiah 14:9-14 which certainly go beyond the kings of Tyre and Babylon.” Scofield Reference Notes (1917 Edition)

Too many ancient peoples they firmly believe the earth has been through previous cataclysmic destructions. Some say the last one happened 13,000 years ago with the beginning of the ice age which in my studied opinion is the age in which Lucifer rebelled and was cast to the earth. The age between 19,000 to 13,000 is the age of Lucifer’s reign over the earth as the covering Cherubim helping Adonai in creation and leading our previous ancestors in worship toward Elohim. Lets look at what happened.

Jeremiah 4:23-26 I saw the eretz, and, behold, it was waste and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. 24 I saw the mountains, and, behold, they trembled, and all the hills moved back and forth. 25 I saw, and, behold, there was no man, and all the birds of the sky were fled. 26 I saw, and, behold, the fruitful field was a wilderness, and all the cities of it were broken down at the presence of the LORD, [and] before his fierce anger.

So again we see the earth is referred to as Tohu and Bohu, yet this was an age where there was no man as Adam was the first man. There was creation before Adam. Sin entered into man through Adam. Before Adam there was no man or homo-sapiens, Adam was the first homo-sapiens. Who and what is it that existed before man that was capable of creating cities? They found a large megalithic pyramid underwater off the coast of Japan that was aged to more than 13,000 years old. How is this possible unless before man existed intelligent beings on this earth. Angels send here to tend the work of Adonai’s hands who decided they wanted to make it their own. They sought to ascend to the hill of the Adonai and take His thrown to be cast down.

The concept of Gap Theology can be traced all the way back to biblical times and can be found in Rabbi Akiva ben Yoseph’s “Sefer Hassohar” (1st Century CE), as well as the Targum of “Onkelos” (2nd Century BC), and Christian theologian Origens “De Principiis” (3rd Century CE) including Caedmon (7th Century CE). In modern times there are many who have promoted a belief in the Pre-Adamite age/world, such works as the Thomas Chalmers Chain Reference Bible, Cyrus Scofields Reference Bible, Finis Jennings Dakes Annotated Notes, The Free Church of Scotland, and The Bridgewater Treatises to name a few. The Sages believe that the age of lawlessness was two thousand years from Adam to Moshe, the age of the law was two thousand from Moshe to Messiah and the age of messiah is two thousand years, and this ends with the age of Millennial peace or shalom. The Four ages of the earth according to Rabbinic Tradition Are:

1. The Age of Lawlessness (2,000 years). Adam was created approximately 1,948 years before Moshe.
2. The Age of Law (2,000 years). The age of Moshe to the Messiah.
3. The Age of Messiah (2,000 years). The age of Messiah to Millennial Reign.
4. The Millennial Rest (1,000 years). We are very close to the advent of the Great Sabbath-Millennial rest.

Two thousand times three is six thousand years, leaving the one thousand year Millennial Reign which follows the great and fearful Day of Adonai, the Glorious Appearing of Messiah the second time (or Advent). We are in year 5,772 from Adam til now (2011-2012). The Talmud states that there were 974 generations before Adam. Depending on whether a generation is 40, 60 or a 100 years, or in the age of men who lives to be over 900 hundred years (pre-flood) how long of a generation and how many years could that be? At the least 38,960 years to at max 876,600 years according to the 40 year to 900 year generations of Adam. Rabbi Bahya ben Asher believed the earth to be billions of years old based on his Kabbalistic calculations which are questionable at best. The idea that an age or generations (ages) existed before Adam frees up so much more to discussion with Agnostic, Atheist, Archaeologist, Academics, and Scientist. From Adam til now has literally been 5,772 years or pretty close to there.

The Gap Theology solidly answers questions about the age of the Earth, the age of the universe, dinosaurs, fossils, ice core samples, the distinct ice ages, the many levels of dinosaurs and pre-Adamic creation as well as geological formations. The Gap Theology allows for even explains previous ages in which Lucifer (Hallel/Satan) ruled the earth when there was no man, a time when dinosaurs existed on the earth. This makes room for the Geologic Ages of the Earth such as: Quaternary, Tertiary, Cretaceous, Jurassic, Triassic, Permian, Pennsylvanian, Mississippian, Devonian, Silurian, Ordovician and Cambrian, as well as the Geologic Era’s of Cenozoic, Mesozoic, Paleozoic, Proterozoic and Archeozoic, if that is how G-d choose to Intelligently Design all of creation. Lets look at what Scofield says:

Its humorous to me that many call it the gap “theory” I don’t believe it a theory after years of studying and believing it. I believe the Gap Theology to be sound and solid reasoning that explains the creation of Lucifer, his rise and fall, the casting down of fallen angels, the ice age and pre-adamic events many “Christians” seek to avoid to their shame and disgrace in front of the scientific community. There need to be answers to the pre-adamic ages, the ice age, dinosaurs and the lack of evidence that they ever existed with mankind. If they died in the ice age they would not have been alive after the ice age. At the thaw of the Ice Age when the Ruach was stirring and hovering over the waters bringing them back to life from the previous cataclysm, this was before the Global flood.

CJB Isaiah 45:18  For thus says ADONAI, who created the heavens, God, who shaped and made the earth, who established and created it not to be chaos, but formed it to be lived in: “I am ADONAI; there is no other.

There is only one ADONAI who created the world and didn’t make it to be chaotic but formed it to be lived in. We must listen to these words and come let us reason together. We have to make sense in this world of nonsense.

HNV Isaiah 24:1 Behold, [makes the earth empty, makes it waste, turns it upside down, and scatters its inhabitants.

WLC Isaiah 24:1 הִנֵּה יְהוָה בֹּוקֵק הָאָרֶץ וּבֹֽולְקָהּ וְעִוָּה פָנֶיהָ וְהֵפִיץ יֹשְׁבֶֽיהָ׃

TS98 Isaiah 24:1 See, יהוה is making the earth empty and making it waste, and shall overturn its surface, and shall scatter abroad its inhabitants.

CJB Isaiah 24:1 Look! ADONAI is stripping and destroying the land, turning it upside down and scattering its inhabitants

So here Adonai Makes the earth empty. Take a look at Scofields notes on Genesis 1:2 and Isaiah 4:23. The story is consistent many who ignore that Lucifer has already become a fallen angel and that the casting down of Lucifer and company caused a great cataclysm before Adam was created seem to want to live in a no realistic unreality and say they do it in faith. Faith isn’t ignorant or dumb, faith is active in a G-d we know answers, hears us and communicates with us. Jeremiah 4, Isaiah 24 and Job 9 seem to point clearly to Genesis 1’s statement that the earth is without form and void. The interesting connection to the Tohu and Bohu, or Empty Wasteland seems to be strong and clear.

I saw is a past tense statement akin to Yeshua saying “I saw Lucifer fall like lightning.”  This is a past tense statement. To Yeshua it already had happened. To Adam who was tempted by Lucifer in form of a Dinosaur-Serpent-Dragon in the garden by the Tree it already happened. So to us it has already happened if we believe the D’var Adonai (Word of the L-rd).

“For thus says the LORD who created the heavens, the God who formed the eretz and made it, who established it and didn't create it a waste, who formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is no one else.” (Isaiah 45:18 HNV)

“4 "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the eretz? Declare, if you have understanding. 5 Who determined the measures of it, if you know? Or who stretched the line on it? 6 Whereupon were the foundations of it fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, 7 When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy?” (Job 38:4-7 HNV)

Were you there when Adonai created the eretz, can you tell Him when and how He made it? Do you know all that has transpired before you came to exist? No, we can only study to know the hand of G-d from His Word and study His works to become more conscious and aware of what He has done and will do.

Job 9 is a very interesting passage it speaks about how Adonai destroys the earth, removes the mountains, overturns them in anger and seals up the stars.

HNV Job 9:5 He removes the mountains, and they don’t know it, when he overturns them in his anger.

WLC Job 9:5 הַמַּעְתִּיק הָרִים וְלֹא יָדָעוּ אֲשֶׁר הֲפָכָם בְּאַפֹּֽו׃

TS98 Job 9:5 He who removes mountains, and they do not know it, when He overturns them in His displeasure;

CJB Job 9:5 "He moves the mountains, although they don't know it, when he overturns them in his anger.

He then shakes the earth and its pillars tremble.

HNV Job 9:6 He shakes the earth out of its place. Its pillars tremble.

WLC Job 9:6 הַמַּרְגִּיז אֶרֶץ מִמְּקֹומָהּ וְעַמּוּדֶיהָ יִתְפַלָּצֽוּן׃

TS98 Job 9:6 who shakes the earth out of its place, and its columns tremble;

CJB Job 9:6 He shakes the earth from its place; its supporting pillars tremble.

He commands the sun and it doesn’t rise. He then seals up the stars. This would cause an Ice Age. What kind of cataclysm causes the sun to not rise, shakes the earth, seals up the stars and starts and Ice Age? A work of G-d’s hand, a meteor causing the earth to shake, causing ash to cover the sky and shut out the stars as the earth cools and falls into an Ice Age.

HNV Job 9:7 He commands the sun, and it doesn’t rise, and seals up the stars.

WLC Job 9:7 הָאֹמֵר לַחֶרֶס וְלֹא יִזְרָח וּבְעַד כֹּוכָבִים יַחְתֹּֽם׃

CJB Job 9:7 He commands the sun, and it fails to rise; he shuts up the stars under his seal.

He seals the stars and causes huge waves.

HNV Job 9:8 He alone stretches out the heavens, and treads on the waves of the sea.

WLC Job 9:8 נֹטֶה שָׁמַיִם לְבַדֹּו וְדֹורֵךְ עַל־בָּמֳתֵי יָֽם׃

The kind of cataclysm that causes Tsunami like waves, earthquakes and causes a cloud to cover the earth so that the Sun doesn’t seem to rise and there are no stars seen at night either a giant volcano or a large meteor crash that’s impact causes earthquakes, tsunami’s and an ash cloud to seal out the heat of the sun and begin the ice age.

HNV Job 9:9 He makes the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, and the rooms of the south.

WLC Job 9:9 עֹֽשֶׂה־עָשׁ כְּסִיל וְכִימָה וְחַדְרֵי תֵמָֽן׃

TS98 Job 9:9 who made Ash, Kesil, and Kimah, and the rooms of the south;

CJB Job 9:9 He made the Great Bear, Orion, the Pleiades and the hidden constellations of the south.

He made “ash,”  Kesil and Kimah, the Bear, Orion, Pleiades and the constellations of the south. Interesting the word for The Bear is Ash. If an Ash cloud covered the eretz you wouldn’t see the constellations. Some say that the meteor hit somewhere in south America.

HNV Job 9:10 He does great things past finding out; yes, marvelous things without number.

WLC Job 9:10 עֹשֶׂה גְדֹלֹות עַד־אֵין חֵקֶר וְנִפְלָאֹות עַד־אֵין מִסְפָּֽר׃

TS98 Job 9:10 who performs great and unsearchable deeds, and innumerable wonders.

CJB Job 9:10 He does great, unsearchable things, wonders beyond counting.

After speaking of this event Adonai says He does things that are past finding out, great unsearchable and innumerable wonders. So He is speaking to Job about things He has done that Job doesn’t know about that are unsearchable and hidden in the past. Wow, if that’s not clear enough I don’t know what it.

The angels didn’t keep their first domain or original authority, they deserted there own dwellings and abandoned the proper “sphere.” They are know kept in everlasting bonds under darkness, or the second heavens (which is the dark, cold spiritual realm we can not see), until the day, the Great Day of Judgment.

“The judgment of the fallen angels. The "great day" is the day of the Lord Isaiah 2:9-22. As the final judgment upon Satan occurs after the thousand years, and preceding the final judgment Revelation 20:10 it is congruous to conclude, as to the time, that other fallen angels are judged with him ; 2 Peter 2:4; Revelation 20:10. So the Fallen Angels have already fallen, they are now waiting judgment, this is not a future event but a past event. Look at what Yeshua says in Luke:

“I saw” is a permanent and perfect past tense statement. Its been done. The angels have left their abode, lose their authority and fell like lightning.

And the dragon and his messengers fought, 8but they were not strong enough, nor was a place found for them in the heaven any longer. 9And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads all the world astray. The great Dragon-Serpent-Dinosaur was cast to the earth by Mika’el the Archangel. Notice the Great Dragon, is called the Serpent of Old. Serpents-Dragons and Dinosaurs are interchangeable in ancient mythology and the bible. Keep that in mind, Serpent equals Dragon equals Dinosaur. The accuser of our brethren was cast out of heaven, again its says in perfect past tense, “was.” He’s a “has been” for he “has been thrown down". We now overcome by the blood of the lamb, the word of our witness and not loving our lives to the death or ourselves. The devil “has come down to you” he knows he has little time. He is persecuting the women and her male child. The woman is the Jewish people and Mariam who was the mother of Yeshua, the male child is Yeshua, and those who are apart of His body. The mother of Messianic Judaism is Ancient Judaism. Israel is the mother, we are the male child. Lucifer seeks to persecute us. We have power in Yeshua’s blood, our personal witness or testimony and that we take up our death stakes and not love our lives but love Adonai and serve His Son, our messiah, Yeshua.

Lucifer took a third of the angels and threw them to the earth with himself as he was cast down he ensnared a third of the B’nei Elohim and drew them down with him. These fallen angels are the disembodied spirits we know as demons who at some points in history sought to intermingle their blood with mankind and produced the Nephilim, the Rephaim and Anakim, who are seen throughout scripture persecuting the people of Adonai. Its good that Lucifer who tried to kill Yeshua as soon as He was born, who tried to have Moses killed as soon as he was born, failed to kill the male child who was the deliver for His people.

We must be careful to note fall into the delusion of Bil’am (Balaam), the way Qayin (Cain) or the rebellion of Korach (Korah). The delusion of Balaam is the Doctrine of Balaam that is to get the elect of G-d to sin and curse themselves since Balaam wasn’t allowed to curse them himself. The way of Cain is offering to G-d was is not your best, murder, building walled cities and trade. The rebellion of Korah is the rejection of the elders who Adonai has appointed saying can not Adonai also speak through us. We can pick leaders for ourselves. Adonai’s says touch not my anointed do my prophets no harm. We must be careful of these snares of satan. Yeshua was tempted three times by Lucifer with the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. One that he could have the earth which was ha’Satan’s, two that could turn the rocks into bread (since he had to be hungry from fasting 40 days), and three that He could call down angels from heaven to catch Him if he tried to jump of the highest point of the temple. These three sins are what the three items in the ark of the Covenant deal with the ten commandments are a rejection of beautiful golden idols whether they be of cows, animals, or men, the container man’na deal with the lust of the flesh, the desire to have more than we need, and the rod with almond blossom of Aharons, deals with the rebellion of Korach, the pride of life, that I can do this because I can hear from G-d myself and we can pick leaders for ourselves. No, we must submit to Adonai and avoid these temptations. Satan knows how to uses these against us. We must be careful to know the weapons of our warfare and the weapons of our enemy.

Wisdom considered to be an angel of the ADONAI is said to come before the creation of the world. Before the world was created angels we’re created as Adonai’s helpers in creation. Sophia chapel of the Byzantine empire is named after the Greek personification of Wisdom Sophia. Some believe “goodness” and “mercy” to be angels. Believing the inflection of “surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all my days” is speaking of our guardian angels. Just as we have guardian angels the enemy seeks to assign spirit guides (demons) who seek to lead us astray. There is a war between good and evil. For every demon there are two angels. If you choose good you are on the side that has the winning numbers. There is no guessing or lottery here.

CJB Genesis 1:28 God blessed them: God said to them, "Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air and every living creature that crawls on the earth."

This is interesting that the word Replenish is only used in Genesis 1:28 and Genesis 9:1. In 9:1 it clearly means “Replenish” many modern translators have opted for “fill” in place of “replenish” due to the elusive and even destructive connotation “replenish” can mean to their cherish theologies of ignorance. They would have to change what they believe to accept that fact so instead they chance the application of the word in the text.

“4390  male'  maw-lay' or malae (Esth. 7:5) maw-law'; accomplish, confirm, consecrate, fill, fulfil, (over-)flow, fulness, furnish, gather (selves, together), replenish, satisfy, set, space, + have wholly.” – Strongs Concordance

The word that is only used twice in the bible in Genesis 1:28 and 9:1 is Maw’lay which carries many possible meanings and Replenish is a possible correct translation. In context of everything Replenish makes sense in 9:1 without a doubt, however 1:28 requires further investigation as I’ve shown here to prove that it bares out its meaning.

Some translate Genesis 9:1 as “refill the earth,” others “fill” and yet others “replenish,” this is the same Hebrew word in Strongs #4390. These are the only two times in the Shumash the first five books of the bible that this word is used. One thing we know is that the Earth and people, animals and life existed before Genesis 1:3. This is where the fact that the word “malae” is used to “refill” or “replenish” the earth and is only used one other time in Genesis 1 there is a connection between the two stories and the story of Lucifer being cast down. The fallen beings, giants of old, the dinosaurs, and dragons of many religions are the disembodied spirits of Satan and his cohorts. These are the demons as we known the, the principalities of the air. Just like is discussed in Daniel 9 – 10. We are commanded to be fruitful and “Malae” the earth, to fill, refill or replenish the earth. The connection between Genesis 1 and Genesis 8 should not be overlooked by any bible translator or biblical scholar. If they push it aside like some translators do, where Genesis 1 says “fill the earth” and Genesis 9 translates the same word “refill” or “replenish the earth.” That’s a rather odd and hypocritical, anti-intellectual brainwashing they try to use to get people to overlook what can be easily seen is a sad play of words and mental distortion.

The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) describes the word To Replenish as follows:

1. make full, fill, stock with, as in: ‘This man made the Newe Forest, and replenyshed it with wylde bestes’ (AD1494);
2. inhabit, settle, occupy the whole of;
3. fill with food, satiate;
4. fill (space) with; fill (heart) with (a feeling);
5. fill up again; fill up (a vacant office) (AD1632);
6. become full, attain to fullness.

Webster's 1828 Dictionary simple describes it Replenished as:

Replenished: “REPLEN'ISHED, pp. Filled; abundantly supplied.”

The creation of Adam (man - Homo-sapien) was a unique and new creation, as where many of the birds, fish and animals in Genesis chapter 1.  Much of Genesis 1 clearly shows the new creation of man and animals as we know them. The bible records much of the story from Adam through Messiah, with prophecy pointing toward future fulfillment. The bible is historically accurate book as it relates to the story of man. The people and places in the bible have existed in the time period they existed and have found to be so.

HNV Genesis 1:27 And Elohim created the man in His image, in the image of Elohim He created him – male and female He created them.

Its awesome to know we are unique creation of Elohim in the world and the cosmos, that we we’re made like Him, in His image. In light of the vastness of the universe and the complexity of life on the earth we need to appreciate our uniqueness in that context.

“and that by means of these things the world of that time was flooded with water and destroyed.” (2 Peter 3:6 CJB)

“by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.” (2 Peter 3:6 HNV)

Peter brings up the flood by which the world that then was was overflowed with water and perished. This passage is where I get the term or the title “the time that then was” even though Peter speaks of the flood of Noah and I’m speaking of the Ice Age, the age of the fallen angels and pre-adamic creation. The age of the fallen angels. The stories of Atlantis or Thule, of Greco-Roman gods, the Incans-Mayans, the Egyptian religion and others all point to an age of beings being cast down to the earth even the Hindu and Buddhist creation tales all include world tree’s, giants, dragons and serpents. The idea that beings were cast to the earth and played a role in early earth history before man is consistent throughout comparative religious study which is only rightly viewed form a Judeo-Messianic-Biblical worldview.

“knowing this first, that in the last days mockers will come, walking after their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming?” For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an eretz formed out of water and amid water, by the word of God; 6 by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished. 7 But the heavens that now are, and the eretz, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. 8 But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” (2 Peter 3:3-8 HNV)

All things continue as they have since they were from the beginning of creation. There has been an Ice Age, a global flood and yet the Eretz remains. Adonai upholds the world through the power of His D’var (Word-Logos). His word, His instructions, hold up the world and should hold up our lives. If we do not let the Word hold up our lives we will fall down and crash under the ways of Cain, the delusion of Balaam or the rebellion of Korah.

"For, look! I create new heavens and a new earth; past things will not be remembered, they will no more come to mind.’” (Isaiah 65:17 CJB)

G-d promised to create a new heaven and a new earth, in the Ice Age the earth wasn’t destroyed, in the flood the earth wasn’t destroyed but when Yeshua comes again He promise’s to consume the earth in fire and create a new heavens and earth. The previous ice ages and floods, where done to cleanse the earth. The time for earth’s mercy will run out and the final judgment will come and there will be a new heavens and a new earth.

“Oh, the depth of riches, and wisdom and knowledge of Elohim! How unsearchable His judgments and untraceable His ways!” (Romans 11.33 TS98)

Some things are beyond our comprehension. However G-d does lays out things for us to understand and asks us to come reason with Him.

CJB 2 Peter 3:3-8 knowing this first, that in the last days mockers will come, walking after their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming?” For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an eretz formed out of water and amid water, by the word of God; 6 by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished. 7 But the heavens that now are, and the eretz, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. 8 But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Some say that since with Adonai a day is as a thousand years that Genesis 1 could be speaking of a gradual 6,000 year creation which is not what I believe. It was “and there was night-darkness and day-light day one.”  I do not believe the night and day of Genesis to be metaphoric but literal. The regeneration in Genesis 1 literally took 6 days. The first act of complete and total creation in Genesis 1:1 when Adonai created the heavens and the earth was done and complete it remained that way for some time before the earth was destroyed in a cataclysm and had to be replenished.

“For this reason, even as through one man sin did enter into the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned,'’ (Romans 5:12 TS98)

The word used here for world is Cosmos which can mean the people who inhabit the world, as in all mankind or homo-sapiens. Sin entered into mankind through one man and is redeemed through the second Adam. “For G-d so loved the World He gave His only begotten Son.”

“And out of the ground יהוה Elohim made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, with the tree of life in the midst of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” (Genesis 2:9 TS98)

The animals didn’t and pre-Adamic creation didn’t have access to the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life only Adam and Eve. The Garden was protected that’s why Lucifer had to speak through a serpent and tempt Adam and Eve to eat of the Tree of Knowledge of good and Evil. They already knew good, perfect good in G-d. G-d didn’t want them to eat of the tree of knowledge that included evil. He wanted them to eat of the Tree of Life and live, life eternal. Instead Yeshua had to die to provide a way for us to experience eternal life in heaven with the Father.

“In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” (Revelation 22:2 HNV)

In the new “garden,” the new heaven and earth we will all have access to the tree of life. We get to partake of the Tree of Life every month, as the leaves bring healing. After all that is suffered in Revelation healing is needed.

“For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man.” (1 Corinthians 15:21 HNV)

Some say this is why there can be no pre-adamic creation. There are no man, no homo-sapien before Adam, death and sin came by Adam and thus death, life came through the second Adam, Yeshua.

Make Man In Our Image
Man. Gen 1:26; Gen 1:27 gives the general, Gen 2:7; Gen 2:21-23 the particular account of the creation of man. The revealed facts are:

1. Man was created not evolved. This is
   (a) expressly declared, and the declaration is confirmed by Christ Matthew 19:14; Mark 10:6,
   (b) "an enormous gulf, a divergence practically infinite" (Huxley) between the lowest man and the highest beast, confirms it;
   (c) the highest beast has no trace of God-consciousness--the religious nature;
   (d) science and discovery have done nothing to bridge that "gulf."
2. That man was made in the "image and likeness" of God. This image is found chiefly in man's tri-unity, and in his moral nature. Man is "spirit and soul and body" 1 Thessalonians 5:23.

"Spirit" is that part of man which "knows" 1 Corinthians 2:11 and which allies him to the spiritual creation and gives him God-consciousness. "Soul" in itself implies self-consciousness life, as distinguished from plants, which have unconscious life. In that sense animals also have "soul" Genesis 1:24. But the "soul" of man has a vaster content than "soul" as applied to beast life. It is the seat of emotions, desires, affections Psalms 42:1-6. The "heart" is, in Scripture usage, nearly synonymous with "soul." Because the natural man is, characteristically, the soulual or physical man, "soul" is often used as synonymous with the individual, e.g. Genesis 12:5. The body, separable from spirit and soul, and susceptible to death, is nevertheless an integral part of man, as the resurrection shows ; John 5:28; John 5:29; 1 Corinthians 15:47-50; Revelation 20:11-13. It is the seat of the senses (the means by which the spirit and soul have world-consciousness) and of the fallen Adamic nature. Rom 7:23; Rom 7:24.” Scofield Reference Notes (1917 Edition)

Man is a unique being made of Soul, Spirit and Flesh, in the image of Elohim, He made us Echad, one being who has a Body, Soul and Spirit. Animals have a body and soul and die and go to the dust, however scripture says we have a body, soul and spirit. Our body and soul perish however our spirit returns to The Father who made our spirit. We must keep in mind our uniqueness. The divide between soul and spirit, is why many people may seem to toss between two minds one of self, soul or flesh and another of spiritually mindedness.

“How you are fallen from heaven, Heylel, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, who laid the nations low! 13 You said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; and I will sit on the mountain of congregation, in the uttermost parts of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like Ha`Elyon. 15 Yet you shall be brought down to She’ol, to the uttermost parts of the pit. 16 Those who see you shall gaze at you, they shall consider you, [saying], “Is this the man who made the eretz to tremble, who shook kingdoms; 17 who made the world as a wilderness, and overthrew the cities of it; who didn’t let loose his prisoners to their home?” 18 All the kings of the nations, all of them, sleep in glory, everyone in his own house. 19 But you are cast forth away from your tomb like an abominable branch, clothed with the slain, who are thrust through with the sword, who go down to the stones of the pit; as a dead body trodden under foot.” (Isaiah 14:12-19  HNV)

Heylel is another lane for Lucifer or ha’satan, the adversary and accuser. Even though Isaiah was talking to a man its obvious he was prophesying about the spirit that possessed the man. Here is another passage in Ezekiel where the prophet seems to be prophesying to the same spirit in another man.

“”Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tzor, and tell him, Thus says the Lord GOD: You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in `Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the sardius, the pitdah, and the diamond, the bareket, the shoham, and the yashefay, the sappir, the yahalom, and the yahalom, and gold: the workmanship of your timbrels and of your pipes was in you; in the day that you were created they were prepared. 14 You were the anointed Keruv who covers: and I set you, [so that] you were on the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you. 16 By the abundance of your traffic they filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I have cast you as profane out of the mountain of God; and I have destroyed you, covering Keruv, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17 Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I have cast you to the ground; I have laid you before kings, that they may see you. 18 By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your traffic, you have profaned your sanctuaries; therefore have I brought forth a fire from the midst of you; it has devoured you, and I have turned you to ashes on the eretz in the sight of all those who see you. 19 All those who know you among the peoples shall be astonished at you: you are become a terror, and you shall nevermore have any being.” (Ezekiel 28:12-19 HNV)

There is no way this man was in the Garden of Adonai if Adam and Eve had been cast out. This is a clear word to Lucifer. This speaks of the casting down and destruction of the earth during the Pre-Adamic Ice Age.

“in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience,” (Ephesians 2:2 TS98)

Lucifer is the prince of the second heavens, the ruler of the air, of the outer darkness which demons roam and we can not see, however they can see us.

Create Evil
Heb. “ra” translated “sorrow,” “wretchedness,” “adversity,” “afflictions,” “calamities,” but never translated sin. God created evil only in the sense that He made sorrow, wretchedness, etc., to be the sure fruits of sin.” Scofield Reference Notes (1917 Edition)

Did Adonai create Evil? I don’t believe it possible for in Him is not evil, no shadow of turning at all. It shows in Isaiah and Ezekiel how Lucifer looked at himself, started to worship himself, started to glorify himself and then rose up and rebelled as a freewill act of his own. I do not believe Adonai created evil, as a result of freewill sin was created when Lucifer first choose to rebel and lead others astray, sin first entered the human race through Adam’s act of volition willfully giving in to Lucifer’s deception.

“Elohim spoke, “Come to existence light:” there was light. Elohim saw, perceived and considered the light, that it was good.” – MARNV

What does “Let there be light mean?” I like how Scofield explains it.

Let There Be Light
Neither here nor in verses 14-18 is an original creative act implied. A different word is used. The sense is, made to appear; made visible. The sun and moon were created “in the beginning.” The “light” of course came from the sun, but the vapor diffused the light. Later the sun appeared in an unclouded sky.” Scofield Reference Notes (1917 Edition)

So light was made to appear or made visible. The darkness was removed and light was brought. That is how there was light before Adonai created the sun, moon, and stars. “Let there be” is an act of allowance not an act of direction creation. Adonai does have the power to speak things into existence but if the earth was covered in an Ice Age under a cloud of dust and the Holy Spirit started warming the water and Adonai parted the clouds so the light of the sun, moon and constellations showed through once again, then that which was not visible became visible.

“Elohim separated light from darkness. Elohim proclaimed the light “Day,” darkness He called “Protective Shadow.” It was sunset, it was day break, one time.” – MARNV

G-d made day before night and blessed it. Adonai said “let there be evening and morning” each of six days. Night or evening is mentioned before morning or day. It’s a pagan believe that darkness is evil. Even in Psalm 104:20 we find that Adonai blesses the night. The days of Reconstruction were literally 6 days (Exodus 20:11). There is no question about that. I do not believe in the age day theory. I do believe there is a gap that has some evidence in the bible and archaeology that there is a pre-Adamic world without mankind or homo-sapiens.

Day
The word “day” is used in Scripture in three ways:

1. that part of the solar day of twenty-four hours which is light Gen 1:5; Gen 1:14; John 9:4; 11:9.
2. such a day, set apart for some distinctive purpose, as, “day of atonement” (Leviticus 23:27); “day of judgment” Matthew 10:15.
3. a period of time, long or short, during which certain revealed purposes of God are to be accomplished, as “day of the Lord.” Scofield Reference Notes (1917 Edition)

We see that day can either be a literal day or a period of time. However in the context of evening and morning, night and day I do not believe anything but a literal day can be accepted.

Evening
The use of “evening” and “morning” may be held to limit “day” to the solar day; but the frequent parabolic use of natural phenomena may warrant the conclusion that each creative “day” was a period of time marked off by a beginning and ending.” Scofield Reference Notes (1917 Edition)

Evening is evening, day is day. Genesis 1 speaks of a literal 7 day week not a metaphoric 7,000 year period.
